Traveling the Pacific Coast and Seeing Redwoods
I think I was still in the Pacific Northwest west I got to the coast in Reedsport Oregon. Only 400 miles further south than I’d planned for. That’s chump change compared to the way I’ve been bouncing around lately. Most importantly, I’m glad I did make it over.
17,000 Mile Ride Report
It’s now been 17,000 miles and 4.5 months since I loaded up my V-Strom and headed out from Texas. I have now covered all of the western states and three Canadian providences. In fact I’ll be pulling into San Diego in just over two weeks for a temporary stop before riding again through October.
Good Food, Better People and A Fantastic Lake
Independent, budget travel can create vast differences in expectations, and experiences in a short period of time. I had just such a swing over three days in southern Oregon. It all started around 4pm as I left Boise with a new chain and sprocket in my panniers on my way to Bend, Oregon.
